I am Amos Fortune a black slave. I was a freeman when I was at the village of
At-mun-shi, but the young king had to cross us through the jungle. The young prince
saw it everything animals and beautiful flowers. He stayed up all night to

say that he was the young prince. So the Quaker called me Amos from now and on
I will be Amos.
